Review below-ground equipment and surface connections as one installation. Total well depth alone does not define either the pump duty or the complete installation.

Pump, motor and water level
Confirm the selected assembly’s submergence and cooling requirements against the pumping water level and known variation. Use the well-test record as the source reference.

Rising main and cable
Coordinate the delivery connection, rising main, cable route and wellhead arrangement. The pipe and cable lengths depend on the actual setting and route.

Installation and retrieval
Check clear diameter, casing condition, lifting access and setting constraints. Keep the arrangement practical for installation, inspection and later removal.

What is an ASJ deep well submersible pump?
The ASJ pump and directly coupled motor form a submersible assembly installed below the water level. Confirm its setting, submergence and cooling requirements for the actual well.
Is well depth the required pump head?
No. Pump duty follows the route from the pumping water level to the destination, including elevation, pipe losses and required outlet pressure. Total depth is also relevant to installation planning.
Which borehole diameter should I provide?
Provide the clear internal diameter and casing details, together with any known restrictions. Compare these with the selected assembly and its installation clearances.
Can ASJ be selected for water containing sand?
Provide the water analysis and known sand content. Check them against the selected model’s liquid limits; the deep-well family description does not establish suitability for every groundwater condition.
Where are the detailed ASJ model curves?
