Horizontal slurry pump questions

How is the right model selected?
Start with flow, total head, slurry properties and installation conditions. Confirm the applicable curve and wet-end materials before selecting a model.
Metal or rubber-lined wet end?
The AM catalogue describes metal and rubber-lined configurations. Confirm abrasion, particle size, liquid chemistry and temperature for the proposed material. The model-specific material schedule takes precedence.
Which drive arrangement should I use?
Direct coupling and belt drive are possible arrangements. Confirm the pump speed, motor speed, transmission, power supply, guarding and maintenance clearance against the proposed pump set.
What is included in the quotation?
Choose a bare pump, an electric motor-driven set or a diesel engine-driven set. Define the driver, transmission, baseframe, guards, sealing arrangement, controls and auxiliaries, wear spares and technical documents. Final supply scope is agreed in the quotation.
