What to send, what to include and what to confirm before ordering.
What if I do not know the required flow or pressure?
Describe the job and the liquid first. For a replacement, include the existing pump’s nameplate details and any drawings you have. Mark unknown values clearly so they can be checked before a pump is selected.
Can I enquire about a pump without the motor?
Yes. State whether you need the pump alone or a complete set. If you plan to reuse a motor, include its nameplate details, speed and available mounting space. The quotation should state exactly which equipment is included.
Which documents should I request before ordering?
Ask for the data sheet, performance curve, installation drawing, manual and spare-parts list relevant to the pump. Agree any inspection and test records with the quotation so the document requirements are clear before you order.
