Need a model-specific curve?

Provide the actual slurry and operating point so the proposed model, speed and material can be reviewed together.

Double-Casing Horizontal Slurry Pump construction and operation

This horizontal slurry arrangement is described for ash, coal slurry, ore slurry and heavy-media handling. The manual shows a double casing split in the vertical direction and identifies discharge positioning at 45-degree intervals for the applicable construction.

Packing, an expeller with packing, and mechanical sealing are listed in the source. Choose between these around the inlet pressure, liquid chemistry, operating duty and seal-water conditions. The original numerical tables list separate operating points at stated speeds; changing speed or impeller configuration requires the corresponding curve and power review.

  • Double-casing arrangementReview the selected casing, liner and impeller material for the actual abrasion and corrosion combination.
  • Discharge orientation planningCoordinate the applicable outlet position with pipe supports and maintenance clearances.
  • Multiple shaft-seal directionsDefine process and utility conditions before agreeing the shaft seal.

Components, materials and seals

AM-family metal impeller

Impeller

Review impeller construction and material against the solids, speed and hydraulic duty. Use the selected model parts schedule.

AM-family rubber rear liner

Casing & wear parts

Metal wet-end options for abrasion, corrosion or a combined duty, by selected material schedule.

AM-family mechanical seal components

Shaft sealing

Select the applicable seal around inlet pressure, liquid chemistry and utility availability. Seal options require the selected assembly.

Pump questions

Why does a model appear at more than one speed?
The catalogue lists separate operating records for different speeds. Select the correct speed and curve as one configuration; the highest flow from one record must not be combined with the highest head from another.
How is the pump selected?
Start with flow, total dynamic head, slurry density, solids concentration and size, temperature, chemistry and installation. Review these together on the applicable curve.
Are the images dimensional drawings?
Catalogue drawings show the source construction. Family exterior references and illustrative components are labelled. Use the selected model’s approved arrangement drawing for dimensions and installation.
What is included in the quotation?
The selected supply scope, materials, interfaces, inspection requirements, spares and documents must be agreed in the quotation. An illustration alone does not define the delivered equipment.
What if there is no numerical table on this page?
Send the operating requirement for a model-specific curve review. A product introduction or family envelope cannot replace a selected pump curve.
How do I use this enquiry form?
Choose any model, installation and supply options above, complete the required fields, and prepare a draft. Review it before copying, downloading or opening it in your email application.
