Build the selection around your duty

Liquid and fine solids

Liquid chemistry, temperature, solids concentration and particle-size distribution.

Hydraulic sizing

Required flow and total head, suction conditions and normal operating range.

Impeller and assembly

Applicable impeller type, wet-end materials, sealing and model-specific installation drawing.

The supplied manual provides a light-duty introduction and construction drawing, but no separate AML numerical selection table.

Need a model-specific curve?

Provide the actual slurry and operating point so the proposed model, speed and material can be reviewed together.

Light-Duty Slurry Pump construction and operation

The light-duty slurry pump is described for finer particles, lower-concentration slurry and compatible corrosive liquids. Its selection emphasis differs from the heavy-duty direction: liquid chemistry, the particle distribution and the operating point must suit the lighter arrangement.

The manual includes a dedicated light-duty structure drawing showing the bearing assembly, packing box, pump body, cover, volute liner, throatbush and impeller. Impeller construction varies with size in that source, so the selected configuration needs its own drawing. A light-duty label is not permission to run outside the selected curve or material limits.

  • A distinct light-duty arrangementUse the dedicated construction drawing rather than treating this as a renamed heavy-duty pump.
  • Fine-particle duty assessmentDescribe the concentration range and particle distribution, including occasional oversized solids.
  • Chemistry and material reviewSpecify liquid constituents and temperature before choosing a metal or elastomer wet end.

Components, materials and seals

Pump questions

Is the impeller the same for every size?
No. The manual describes different impeller constructions by size. Request the applicable assembly drawing and parts schedule rather than assuming a single impeller design across the range.
How is the pump selected?
Start with flow, total dynamic head, slurry density, solids concentration and size, temperature, chemistry and installation. Review these together on the applicable curve.
Are the images dimensional drawings?
Catalogue drawings show the source construction. Family exterior references and illustrative components are labelled. Use the selected model’s approved arrangement drawing for dimensions and installation.
What is included in the quotation?
The selected supply scope, materials, interfaces, inspection requirements, spares and documents must be agreed in the quotation. An illustration alone does not define the delivered equipment.
What if there is no numerical table on this page?
Send the operating requirement for a model-specific curve review. A product introduction or family envelope cannot replace a selected pump curve.
How do I use this enquiry form?
Choose any model, installation and supply options above, complete the required fields, and prepare a draft. Review it before copying, downloading or opening it in your email application.
