BBP Manufacturing Co., Ltd.PLUNGER & INDUSTRIAL PUMPS

Established in 1984, BBP manufactures high-pressure plunger pumps and industrial pumps for cleaning, testing and fluid transfer.

Manufacturing

From requirements to prepared equipment

Manufacturing connects pump selection, component preparation, machining, assembly and order-specific inspection. The route depends on the pump family, materials and agreed supply scope, so review the applicable drawings, specifications and acceptance requirements for each enquiry.

Photographs below are supplied BBP company or workshop images. The process descriptions explain typical review points; they do not imply that every stage applies to every pump or order.

01. Application & equipment selection

Selection starts with the liquid properties, required flow and head or pressure, suction conditions and operating cycle. The pump arrangement, drive and installation space are reviewed together so the proposed equipment can be checked against the complete system.

Key review: Provide the duty point, liquid and temperature, suction data, site conditions and requested scope of supply.

02. Mould & component preparation

Pump mould design and foundry work support OEM component manufacturing. Component drawings, revision status, material requirements, quantities and interface dimensions establish the starting information for a parts discussion.

Key review: Identify the drawing revision, material, key dimensions, tolerances and quantity.

03. Casting of pump components

Casting produces pump components to the construction and material requirements of the selected equipment. The applicable alloy, pattern and component geometry depend on the pump family and the agreed operating conditions.

Key review: Confirm the component drawing, material specification and any required traceability records.

04. Heat treatment

Heat treatment may form part of component processing where required by the material and manufacturing specification. The process route and any requested records should be confirmed for the component and order rather than assumed to be identical for every pump.

Key review: Agree the applicable material condition and documentation with the order scope.

05. Finish machining

Machining prepares mounting faces, bores, fits and connection interfaces for assembly. OEM parts should be reviewed against the approved drawing and revision, including the dimensions that determine interchange and installation.

Key review: Check critical dimensions, fits, interfaces and drawing revision.

06. Pump assembly

The selected hydraulic components, shaft, sealing arrangement, drive and auxiliaries are brought together as a pump or pump set. The assembly configuration is checked against the requested model, materials and installation arrangement.

Key review: Confirm the pump arrangement, seal, driver, rotation and auxiliary scope.

07. Inspection & testing

Inspection and testing requirements are defined for the supplied equipment and agreed order scope. Confirm the applicable test points, acceptance criteria, witnessing arrangements and records with the BBP team before placing the order.

Key review: Define the test scope, acceptance criteria and requested records in the quotation.

08. Coating & equipment preparation

Surface preparation, coating and final equipment preparation follow the specified finish and delivery requirements. The pump arrangement, exposed surfaces and any preservation needs should be reviewed before the equipment is packed.

Key review: Specify the finish, preservation, packing and shipping requirements.

09. Supply & technical support

Before dispatch, confirm equipment identification, the agreed supply scope and the documentation required for handover. Technical support can clarify installation information, operating conditions and replacement-part enquiries using the available equipment details.

Key review: Share the nameplate, model, drawings and operating conditions for support.
